According to a 2011 study, IQ, Emotional Intelligence and CQ are three types of intelligence. This study was done in the Swiss Military Academy where a soldier from different countries was working together and helping each other. While working together the soldier with high of all three intelligence performed exceptionally well. But the soldier with only one or 2 intelligence quality was much behind in the race. The soldier with CQ only performed well comparing other 2 intelligence quality holder’s colleagues.

David Livermore is the head of this centre said “The people can improve their CQ by learning. There can be no greater lesson from your own experience of life. Understanding the civilization of a particular country is difficult. Making a good rapport with different communities and people of another country is a difficult thing. It requires special skills. This can be developed by learning. Those who spend time and travel to many places, it is easy for them to do this.

There is a specific courses institute offer which helps people become friendly and performing exceptionally well in the Arab world environment in three months. At the same time, people who went without CQ training took 9 months or more to adjust to their culture.
