No Wonder, Malayalam Cinema is growing every day at a greater level with fresh concepts, relatable characters and what not. After “Angmally Diaries”, Malayalam Cinema takes on the narrative cinema in the first half of 2017 with “Take Off” which is loosely based on real story of rescuing Indian nurses from Iraq. Director Mahesh Narayanan brilliantly captures the best of the characters, issues (including the recruitment of Indians in ISIS), the circumstances which behind the characters in general which include¬†the psyche and the situations as well. Although there are shades of films like “Bombay” and “Airlift”, but Full marks to PV Shajikumar and the director for their brilliant writing¬†added with the narrative complimenting score by Shaan Rahman and Gopi Sunder. Full marks to the actors where Kunchako Boban, Fahadh Faasil and Prakash Belawadi do full justice to their roles who are humane and riveting. Parvathy is amazing and incredible and she will certainly make you fall in love with her. A great feel-good film coming from God’s own Country which is worth watching.
