To be a good father and mother requires that the parents defer many of their own needs and desires in favor of the needs of their children. As a consequence of this sacrifice, conscientious parents develop a nobility of character and learn to put into practice the selfless truths taught by the Savior Himself

Karan Johar took to Social Media this morning and shared with the world the most fulfilling and enriching moment of his life. He became a proud of twins, Roohi and YASH, through surrogacy. Feeling enlightened and enormously blessed to become a proud father, he stated that his work would now take a backseat and all his precious time would be devoted to the two priceless infants. Thanking the surrogate without mentioning her name and Dr. Jatin Shah, the medical expert responsible for the successful operation, he was ecstatic and said he was really looking forward to this wonderful and exciting journey.

Welcome to the world of fatherhood, Mr. Johar.
Surrogacy, an arrangement or agreement where a woman agrees to carry a pregnancy for another person, has truly been a ray of shine in our stars’ lives.
In August 2013, Shahrukh Khan became a proud father for the third time through this process. Abram, easily one of the most adorable and endearing star-sons in the industry today, has truly been a blessing in the King’s life.
Taking the similar route, actor Tusshar Kapoor also announced the arrival of his beloved, Laksshya, last year in June.Kapoor euphorically spoke how the newborn was his most inestimable benefaction.
All these instances only consolidate the fact that a man ought not to be bounded by the shackles of marriage to be a father. The marvel of Surrogacy continues to shine in our stars’ lives and one can surely hope there will be more such glorious fathers in the future.
