The first look of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Babumoshai Bandookbaaz just released and quadrupled our curiosity.
With what the poster has to offer us, it seems yet another intriguing and oddball character in the actor’s extraordinary repertoire.
Just like Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), Manjhi-The Mountain Man (2015) and Haramkhor (2017), this film is also set in the heartland of India. Expect another rustic cinematic experience.

For all of those who aren’t aware, the film was recently in news for sparkling a major controversy while shooting. Chitrangada Singh was signed as the leading lady opposite Siddiqui. The actress wasn’t comfortable while filming a sex scene with the actor, the director asked her to do it. Angered, she decided to quit.

But that’s in the past, what matters is today, when we get to see the world of Babumoshai.
From the heartwarming and insouciant Babumoshai in the iconic Anand (1971) to the gritty Babumoshai unapologetically scratching his butt, Cinema has indeed come a long way.

Now let’s wait for the film.
